First Term in Office
2010-2014
* Selected by the Rutherford County GOP to run in the primary
* Endorsed by Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors
* Elected in 2010 as the first Republican to hold the Register's office
* Upgraded technology including server
Implemented E-Filing
* Got resolution passed to add the duty of Records Management to RuCo's Register of Deeds Office (the only one in the state!)
* Designed and installed the first in-house, state of the art microfilm lab
* Featured in Eastman Park Micrographics white paper highlighting our office
* Elected President of the Middle Tennessee Register's Association
* Drastically reduced budget consistently each year
* Digitized all existing minute books for Chancery and Circuit Court
* Digitized records for Trustee, Sheriff, Archives, and Budget & Finance
Second Term in Office
2014- 2018
* Endorsed by Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors MTAR
* Implemented mylandalert.com as a free resource for constituents to protect against fraudulent filings
* Worked with OSHA to improve work environment: dual screens provided, repositioning of work stations to increase natural light, improved building security, etc.
* Organized concealed carry and firearm safety class for those interested
* Modified deputy handbook to reflect correct organizational lines of authority & uphold deputies' constitutional rights- particularly their 2nd and 4th amendment rights
* Changed hierarchal structure to a collaborative environment, implementing cross-training for staff
* Left antiquated RuCo pay table & implemented my own merit-based pay system
Third Term in Office
2018-2022
*Endorsed by The Tennessee Republican Assembly TRA
* 100% completion of the digitizing all Register of Deeds records
* 100% completion of digitizing County Clerk minutes, marriage certificates, and wills
* Scanned Property Assessor CAAS cards
* Implemented software integration with the Property Assessor's office to reduce labor and increase efficiency
* Voted Register of the Year , 2018
* Elected President of the Tennessee Registers Association
* Board Member County Officials Association of Tennessee
* Served on the Registers Association's legislative committee
* Upgraded server for increased cyber security
* Created and implemented customized OCR software to further improve our records
